Are we there yet?

Sonus Networks Inc., (SONS), rose over 15% on Monday night after the company reported its quarterly profit nearly doubled from a year ago, because of stronger sales. The Company said that it earned $9.7 million, or$0.04 cents a share, compared with $4.9 million, or 2 cents a share, during the year-ago period,a gain of almost +100%. Revenue rose to $58.1 million from $42.4 million a year ago, gaining about +37%...I'll take that!
Sonus beat the estimates of analysts surveyed by Thomson First Call, which had forecast a loss of a penny, $0.01, a share on $39 million in revenue. I've been long SONS for a few years. When they had 'accounting irregularities', I had a fit. The stock price has come back and if the VoIP market continues to gain traction, Sonus stands to benefit. Expect a CNBC update story on these guys..

jgonzz is long SONS
