Grieving Mother's War Protest Draws Notice

Cindy Sheehan,the Mother of a killed US soilder, Casey Sheehan, 24, who has started a roadside peace vigil near president Bush's ranch is drawing national attention. People have sent her food, flowers, words of support and some have joined her at the roadside." Rev. Lennox Yearwood said," Cindy Sheehan has become the Rosa Parks of the anti-war movement". We aren't quite sure what Mr. Yearwood means, but to say she is determined to be recognized. Mrs. Sheehan doesn't expect to actually meet with President Bush, but if she did she would ask him wether he has encouraged his twin daughters to enlist. " I wan't him to quit using my son death to 'justify' more killing", she said. "The only way we can honor my son's death is to bring the troops home." As a mother, Mrs. Sheehan has a right, even an obligation to mourn her son. The WSPO supports her, but the anti-war clowns, who hunger for the days of free love, 10 cent Dr. Peppers, college sit-ins, and full heads of hair can fuck themselves. However, the young Mr. Sheehan wasn't drafted. He enlisted. The enlisted man/woman is a special breed of partriot.
People in America are going on with their daily lives while American citizens are killing the enemy and being killed by the enemy. Mr. Sheehan wasn't killing for President Bush, or for the US government for that matter. He was fighting for the future Sheehan's, and for everyone else..whether they asked for it or not, the rich guy, the poor guy, the tall guy, the midget, the dwarf, the prom queen, the hooker, the pimp, the policeman, the outlaw ,the fireman, the long distance runner, the writer, the reader, the straight 'A' student, the flunky, the fat kid , the spick, the wetback, the nigger, the chink, the slope, the gook, the jew, the irish-prick, the fag, the queer, the treehugger, the war hawk, the child, the grandfather, the grandmother, the computer programmer, the homeless, the hipster, the drunk, the priest, the dying, the newly born, the unwilling, the uninformed, the confused, the communist, the socialist, the democrat, the republican, the server, the served, but above all he was fighting for America, which isn't so much a place as an idea. A 250 year old idea that hasn't been duplicated anywhere else. UK? no. Germany?-nope. Japan?-no. France?- you gotta' be kidding. Yea, a bunch of white english guys got together and formed an idea. Those who don't have it- want it..and those who can't have it- wan't do destroy it. Something the young and yes, dead Mr. Sheehan understood that Mrs. Sheehan hasn't understood is that, upon the conduct of each rests the fate of all..
