Book signing at Borders

New York, NY-- A new book, "Toon Princess", written by Daphne, of Scooby-Doo fame, is due in bookstores next week, published by Full Court Press, Inc. She was discoverd by Bill Hanna of Hanna-Barbera Studios, dancing at a club, Pussychasers. "He asked me if I wanted to be in pictures. Yea, sure I said. And that was it." recalls Daphne. Scooby-Doo was a commercial success enjoying a long seven year run, 1969-1976. Towards the end it was obvious that the show was loosing it's 'spark'. " The scripts were stupid, ghosts, monsters, lizards, ugh! And always for the same reason-gold, oil, treasure..same bullshit." And Velma was often credited with solving the 'mystery', her central role, which caused strain on their relationship. "Velma always got the credit. I don't know why I never got to solve a crime. I'm smart! Freddy is a complete moron. He was supposed to be my boyfriend or something, but he's queer. And Velma kept entering my dressing room without knocking. She was so girl hungery, at times I felt uncomfortable. Shaggy was cool. He always had good grass. And the dog, well I don't know what happened to him." After the series was over, Daphne went into semi-retirement, in southern california. She began getting involved with the drug scene. Cocane, pills and booze led her to the world of porn. "I was bored and I could make some decent money, so I was like sure..why not" In the five years after Scooby-Doo, Daphne made over 300 porn features; Slamhounds, Plantet of the Gapes #4, Throat Bangers, Sloppy and Sore (series 1 through 12) and Assgasims #2 were some of her more popular works. " I don't regret anything. I enjoyed myself." Daphne will be signing copies of her book next thursday at Borders on Broadway, starting at 1pm.
